Check back soon for more info. I thank you.
New Book!
My new book, Words For Songs Never Written will be going to the printers in the next few days.
The collection has been long in the works, and contains what I consider to be
my best work written over the last decade or so. Chuck and Deb at Centennial Press
have put a lot of time, money and energy into this project
and it really is going to be a work of art. We're hoping for it
to be available around the end of August. More details as they arrive.
New Radio Appearance!
This Saturday, July 21, I will be appearing on Lady Monster's show
on Pirate Cat Radio here in San Francisco.
I'll be reading some of my work along with some other very talented folk.
If you live here in SF or in Los Angeles, you can catch it at 87.9 on the FM dial.

New Reading!

on Tuesday, August 21, 2007.
I will be appearing with Michael Layne Heath. With any luck at all
my new book will be available from Centennial Press by that date,
in which it will be a kind of book release party. We'll see.
New DJ Appearance!
What else? Ah, yes. I currently DJ the last Wednesday of every Month
at the Argus Lounge in San Francisco.
I spin with DJ Cherry T on her ART.HOUSE.ROCK night,
an evening of punk, post-punk, indie, glam, whateverthehell.
Come by sometime and drink some drinks and rock out to some good tunes.
The Argus Lounge is located at 3187 Mission (@ Valencia), San Francisco.
The fun happens from 10 p.m. til 2 a.m. and doesn't cost a damned thing.

Update 9/24/05
Just a quick note to announce that Sunnyoutside Press has just released a new broadside of my work. It is beautifully printed and designed (and the poetry might be okay as well.) There are 100 numbered copies available from a mere $2. There are 26 signed and lettered copies available for $4 a pop. Get 'em while you can. In the off chance that I become famous some day you can sell it on ebay and make some money on the deal. Also, if enough copies actually sell, David at Sunnyoutside will get the idea that people are actually interested in my work and do more projects with me in the future. Click the Sunnyoutside Press link to order a copy.
I'm the featured reader this Friday evening, August 12th at Club Caution
(formerly the Front Street Pub) in Santa Cruz. I should be reading around 10:30 p.m. or so.
Come check it out if you're in the area. Am also reading at The Beanery
in Berkley Oct. 11th. feel free to email me for more info.
Update 6/29/05
Hey, look. I'm updating again and it's been less than a month. I'm getting better at this.
Two new items: My poetry and fiction are currently showcased on the website of writer Laura Hird. And you can hear me read my work and babble inanely for the better part of an hour on the Beat Hustler internet radio site. That's all fer now.
Update 6/06/05
Hmmm...in spite of my best intentions this site seems to get updated only about once every six months. Ah, well. What's new, then? One of my poems appears in the brand new issue of Anthills, which is as amazing as ever. Check out the Centennial Press Site and get yourself a copy. Me and my work are showcased on the website of Laura Hird, a fine writer who hails from Scotland. There's more about me on this site than most of you will ever care to know. Also, there's some new poems on the poetry page and some new links as well. That's all for now, kids. Peace.
Update 12/05/04
Yes, I promised to update more often, didn't I? I guess that makes me a big fat liar, but you'll get over it, I'm sure. I'm in San Francisco now, poor but relatively happy. I will be reading in Santa Cruz at the Wired Wash on January 28th and in Oakland at the Leaning Tower of Pizza sometime in January as well. Anise and I are hosting a weekly open mic at Cool Beans Coffeshop here in San Francisco. Every Sunday at 7 p.m. An essay of mine appears in Last Call: The Legacy of Charles Bukowski, a new book from Lummox Press. Email me me for more info. about any of this.
Lastly, I've added a few new poems to the site as well. So quit whining, already.
I'm reading Sunday, June 20th on the poetry stage
at the annual North Beach festival in San Francisco.
Email mefor more info. or click here.
